Thread: LS DBW harness "issue".

  1. #1

    Default LS DBW harness "issue".

I have a DBW harness which has the number 271R1101A on the label. The throttle body connector on this harness has 8 pins. I have a throttle body part number 12580760, which has 6 pins, but is listed as compatible with the Holley ECU, and is listed in the drop down menu. What am I missing here?

Should be a sales number that was used to order it (I.E. 558-104, etc.). Look up the harness, and see what the description says it's made for.

This one has 6 pins and instructions say it works with your T/B.

Yeah, investigate the difference between the Holley 558-406 Drive-By-Wire Harness vs the Holley 558-429 Drive-By-Wire Harness. Click on "Tech Resources", and view the wiring schematics on last page of the "Instructions".
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks guys. Indeed I have the wrong harness. I had no idea there were two different DBW harnesses for the LSx.
