Thread: Best PCV System

    Default Best PCV System

So I've had an issue with my 383" sucking way too much oil through my PCV valve and into my intake. I had one of those cheap parts store PCV valves hooked up to my Holley 4150 carb. I have about 18 inches of vacuum at idle. My other valve cover has a vent in it. My valve covers do have good baffling. Any ideas on how to stop from sucking so much oil? I'm switching over to Sniper EFI.

Danny, I still think that's going to suck oil through. What type of PCV valve should I use?

It's not as much as a PCV valve that's allowed to pull a constant draft through the engine (due to the open element valve cover breather).

Try this one: LINK. It only costs 99˘ (LINK), and very easy to replace.
