    Default New guy in Wisconsin

Hello all. I'm in the later phase of a lengthy frame off '55 Chevy build. The car has a 454, four speed, 4 wheel disc brakes with hydroboost. The engine currently has an Edelbrock performer cam, aluminum heads, intake & carb. I have decided to go fuel injection, specifically the SNIPER EFI. This is a big change for me and I will be asking a bunch of (dumb?) questions. Thanks in advance for your assistance! Shoebox

This indicates to me that you haven't thoroughly researched this EFI system. Everything you should know:

FYI: I understand it's difficult being new to EFI, but that doesn't excuse you from reading the instruction manuals.

Well Danny, you're absolutely correct, I have not thoroughly researched EFI yet. I just started yesterday and I believe this to be the best spot to do so. I also might add I'm not looking for any excuse to not read all applicable manuals. Thank you for your response. Shoebox

I completely understand, and that wasn't meant to be offensive. However, there are plenty of Holley EFI users who don't read the instruction manual(s), and then have problems because of it. I wish you the best with your project vehicle.

Thanks for providing the link, however, I'm not finding the specific "Sniper EFI Technical Information, Posts #1 & #2" that you mention, and I sense it's important that I read them. Will continue to read related materials in the meantime. Shoebox
