    Default '93 Camaro Question

    So I have a 1993 Camaro that Iím working on. It died on me one day and could not get it to start again. I ended up trying an old ICM from my 1998 Chevy Tahoe, and now it fires up, stays running for a few seconds, then dies. I can keep it running by heavily feathering the throttle, but wonít run on its own. I guess my question is, are the GM ICMs interchangeable or do I need to find the right ICM, or keep looking for other issues to why it wonít stay running, LOL. With this being said, Iím only trying to get it running so I can move it around when working on it. I'm installing 8 point roll cage, 421 SBC with coil-overs, Holley Dominator EFI system. So itís not a huge loss if I donít get this thing running, but would be nice until I do the transformation!

    Did as you said and ordered the right part. (I was hoping that they would all be the same general ICM control, but they’re not, LOL.) Well I finally got the part in the mail Monday and it fired right up. That's after fixing the fuel lines I welded through over the weekend, LOL! Damn plastic fuel lines run in the frame rail on the drivers side, right where a 10 point roll cage floor plate welds to.
