Thread: Holley EFI Dual Sync Distributor

I’m currently running the Holley HP EFI MPFI system (not Sniper) on a BBC with a small cap HEI distributor and a stock style dual connector E-core coil. I’m considering switching to the Holley Dual Sync distributor (marketed as "plug & play" with current Holley EFI systems) to allow for sequential injector function, but I'm struggling to find how to connect to a coil “without” an ignition box. Danny's comment above is the first I've found stating that a CD ignition box IS required for the Dual Sync. Is this truly the case? I was hoping not to need additional ignition hardware. Will my current coil work with the dual sync? Do I need the same harness adapter as the Sniper guys? Thanks in advance for any feedback. Augie

Yes, unless you use the Holley EFI 556-150 Coil Driver Module (LINK).

No, the Holley Dual Sync Distributor is "plug & play" (into the 10-pin ignition connector) with the HP & Dominator main harnesses.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.
