Thread: Help switching from DBW to DBC.

Default Help switching from DBW to DBC.

I have a G3 Hemi, DBW, wiring harness. I'm changing to a DBC 4 Barrel Throttle Body with a 5.0 Ford TPS. What do I need to connect the DBC TPS to the ECU? Thanks.

A TPS sensor wired like this: http://forums.holley.com/showthread....0422#post10422 (TPS Autoset Error/Troubleshooting)

Thanks Danny for the quick response! It's not clear, to me, how to tell the ECU to recognize this TPS. At this point, I removed DBW ICF. I haven't found a TPS in any of the drop down menus. Thanks!

It automatically requires you to perform a TPS Autoset when the Drive-By-Wire ICF is removed. The TPS Autoset is in the "Sync With ECU" drop down menu (top Toolbar).

    Got it, thank you.

I must be missing something SIMPLE.

I have pinned a 5.0 Ford TPS to the ecu, Inputs: Black to Grd, Green to 5V, Outputs: Orange to 12V.

When moving the TPS wheel I see voltage change.

I have run TPS Auto Cal. It doesn't find the TPS. Is there a TPS in one of the pull down menus or in the I/O Calibrations I'm missing.

    Thanks.
