Thread: Holley 12-912 Wiring

    Default Holley 12-912 Wiring

Installing a 12-912 in a new installation. There's a small male spade lug and a large one. Is the large power and the small ground?

I'm not familiar with this pump. Doesn't the harness connector (red & black wires) only fit one way? Anyway, yes, the large spade terminal is usually +12V power.

It came with no wiring. And I'm using on a retrofit installation where this pump was not original to this vehicle. I really tried to find tech data before I asked the question.

    I understand.

The Holley 12-912 picture illustrates the red wire as positive +12V & the black wire as Ground. So use that reference for orientation.

And I'm using on a retrofit installation where this pump was not original to this vehicle.
I realize that, but you should still use the mating harness connector. I think it's supposed to include the pigtail harness (LINK), or at least the connector.
