Default FYI: The USB Data Cable for Laptop Tuning Is Not Included with A System

Y'all. In case you're building up a parts list, note that the phrasing "Comes with ECU" (see below) on the 558-409 Sealed USB Data Cable page does not mean it is included with a system. Seeing that phrasing along with "Optional free software upgrade for full laptop control" in the system description, I assumed the cable was included, so I didn't order one. However, it's not on the included parts list, nor does the unboxing video show it. You'll need to order one if you want to tune your system with a laptop. - Shawn

Correct, it's not included with Holley EFI systems that are intended to be used without a laptop.

I didn't even know there was a special cable with a sealed end. I just happened to have a USB cable from an old phone that had a mini USB charging port.

Thanks for mentioning that. That's what I was going to use, but wanted a weather-sealed connection that was less likely to pull out. I should have phrased my post as such the way I stated it, I made it seem that was the only cable that would work.

Just wanted to say I ordered one of these from Mouser and its fit, finish & operation is flawless, excellent quality and saved 10 bucks.
