Thread: 2000 or 1000 CFM TB?

Default 2000 or 1000 CFM TB?

Family member is considering a switch from carb to Holley EFI MPFI on a 468 BBC, that engine dynoed at 620 crank HP using AFR heads, Edelbrock Performer, solid roller cam, 10:1 CR.
What is the cut over from the 1000 CFM TB and the 2000 model? Is the hassle of putting an air cleaner on the Dominator style TB worth it?
Car is a 1969 Caprice with a flat hood and will be street driven 99%. Best track time is 12.5s with a Tremec stick shift. Thanks for the input! Tim

Danny, thanks. It appears the 1000 CFM is likely sufficient. Certainly easier to package with existing pieces from the Holley carb.
