Thread: 351C Timing/Spark Table

    Default 351C Timing/Spark Table

I just installed a TFI distributor (MSD) in my 351 Cleveland (mild cam). The car starts, runs & drives OK, but needs some more tuning.
I loaded in one of the spark tables "25 degree idle 34 WOT.spark".
I think 25° at idle is way too advanced for the 351C, and I'm having trouble syncing the distributor with the EFI software.
If I retard the idle table from 25° to 10° will it make it easier to sync the distributor & the EFI software?
Not sure what I should set the "Ignition Reference Angle" at? Does anyone have any good Base Timing Table for the 351C?

Not specifically for a 351C engine, but it's a good start (depending on your camshaft specs):
