Thread: Wire Harness Connectors

    Default Wire Harness Connectors

I've just upgraded from my HP to Dominator and I will be doing a custom harness. To customize my harness I bought my own wire and all the connectors for my set up (BBC). I've attached a PDF document below that has all the part numbers for the connectors & pins. I purchased them through Corsa-Technic.com, since they had everything under one roof. There's a ten page thread HERE by Danny Cabral, where I got most my info, but I thought I'd share some of my research and put it all on one page. I didn't have my all of my old harness on hand, so hopefully everything is correct, but I'll add changes if it does. I'll post some stuff as I get started on it in the next 30 days or so.

Nicely done. This will come in very handy for other people doing something similar! Andrew

Hopefully it does. The fun part or doing the wiring, will begin in a few weeks.

The missing knock sensor harness connector is a Delphi Metri-Pack 150 connector:
    Delphi 12110293 3-cavity connector
    Delphi 12052845 TPA lock
    Delphi 12048074 wire terminal(s)
    Delphi 15324976 wire seal(s)
    Delphi 12059168 cavity plug(s)

If using the 1-wire knock sensors, like the ones discussed HERE, the only wiring required is a knock sensor pigtail:
GM 12102621 or AC Delco PT308, shown below. (Also for early coolant temp sensors & fan sending units.)
Evidently, there was once a high temperature version available, GM 12126456 or AC Delco PT727.

That was the one thing I wasn't able to look at, since my car is not at home. Thanks Danny!

Just went over the connections and I'm not running a knock sensor. Should I add one or not? It's been running good without one for the past five years.
