Holley really needs to release transmission control for the Ford 6R80. There are so many of us with the Ford 6R80 transmission swap that are buying the Ford harness. They're going to release the Ford Coyote Ti-VCT Cam Controller & Main Harnesses soon. Once they release Ti-VCT & 6R80 control, there's a ton of potential new customers. The stand-alone harnesses for automatic transmission setup from Power By The Hour with all the extras are $2900. I'd rather pay the extra and buy the Holley EFI setup.

Ya, but that's BS. I was just getting ready to pop 3K today on a system that will not work! That's why I emailed them in the first place to make sure. Not happy.

For the GM 6L transmission, I suggest you contact www.PowertrainControlSolutions.com. They have a stand-alone controller that will run it. They also do have the Racepak CAN Bus protocol, so they should be able to make some adjustments to their firmware and allow the TCM2800 to read off of the Holley CAN Bus to get the required info. -Greg

I just asked again, and he said the Dominator EFI will control the 6L80E transmission.

Danny, can you confirm this with your inside guy? Thanks.

I'm sure the answer is the same as post #9 above. And the 6L80E transmission isn't an option in the Holley EFI software either (Transmission ICF).

Think of this as a salesperson trying to SELL you something vs. a technical person trying to TELL you something, and it'll all make sense. Russ

Yes, I agree with you, but he's not a salesperson, he's tech support?

Sorry, I meant it does not control 6L transmissions.
