Default Replace TBI With EFI For SBC

Hello. Tell me what EFI parts kit I need to buy for a TBI replacement on a Chevy Van G20 with a small block L05 (LG4)? In the engine, replaced camshaft, cylinder heads, intake.

Please start by informing us which TBI system you're interesting in installing. Sniper EFI or Terminator EFI?

The kit is suitable for the 4L60E transmission and the standard ignition distributor?

No, the Sniper EFI doesn't have transmission control capability. You would need the Terminator EFI with the Dominator ECU (LINK).

It is about a $1600 jump from Sniper to Terminator with transmission control. If you can work it into your budget then by all means go with the Terminator. But if you get to the decision point and can't come up with that much cash, then using then the Sniper with a stand-alone 4L60E controller would leave nearly $1000 in your pocket. You will give up a some capability, but if you're not drag racing your Chevy G20 van, it might better suit your budget.
