Hi, I haven't rebuilt an automotive carb in a long while. (Lately small equip stuff.)
Acquired an Asplenda Chipper with a Ford 300 inline 6.
All is fine except the carb has never been cleaned and needs rebuilding.
The carb is a Holley 1904 stamped with 6R894B (I believe considering the condition).
Any hints or suggestions before I tear this thing apart? Anyone with recent experience?
Is rebuilding a waste compared to replacing?
Any thoughts on the best float material?
Need to get this done, have a N500 waiting for a restoration.
