    Default Hard Start Issue

    I've posted on here a couple times about a hard start issue kicking back and breaking starters since using timing control. I ran into a friend of my cousin's who runs a Dominator system on his Vette. Bouncing things back & forth, he asked about my idle timing. I said it was at 28°, which he stated was too high. My engine idles best there, so I want to leave it. But I mentioned my Cranking Timing is at 10°. He asked what RPM it was set to switch to regular timing. That is set to 400 default. Moving that to 600 RPM gives the engine a little time to spin over before it jacks the timing up an additional 18°. So far it has worked. Been driving it everyday for two weeks without a hiccup. Just posting in case someone else is having the same issue.

    I've never had any problem with the default Crank To Run RPM of 400.
