Thread: TPS Autoset VS Manual Setup

Default TPS Autoset VS Manual Setup

The 3.5" LCD Touchscreen has a Wizard for TPS Autoset. How can I manually achieve a TPS Autoset from the desktop software (as in the case where a system is being set up without a touchscreen and therefore no access to Wizards)?
Interestingly enough, back when I had access to a touchscreen, I compared the DBW ICF before & after a TPS Autoset, and found no differences. So, I conclude the TPS Autoset is making changes to other (non-DBW) files (perhaps it is changing the Idle ICF?). Thanks.

I just discovered the TPS Autoset location in the desktop EFI software, so part of my question is moot. But I'd still like to understand what the TPS Autoset is doing and which files it touches.

There is no "Manual TPS Setting". It's looking at the voltages at closed throttle, and voltages at wide open throttle.
And it doesn't touch any other part of the tune (it's part of the system settings in the background of the ECU, not part of the ICFs).
It's strictly a TPS calibration so that closed voltage (whatever it may be) is TPS 0% and wide open throttle voltage (whatever it might be) reads 100%.
That's it, there is no manual adjustment for it.

The TPS Autoset function is the same, regardless if it's performed with the touchscreen unit or the EFI (laptop) software.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.
