    Except for the Sniper EFI software, the Base Timing Tables in the base calibrations (Terminator, HP & Dominator) are better than the typical centrifugal/vacuum advance curves.

    Is the timing reference angle, the 50° you set the timing mark at on the dual sync distributor install? Or is that something done in the EFI software?

    It's both, the Ignition Reference Angle (in Engine Parameters), and the installed crank reference angle (LINK).

    I understand now. So if I want to run say 42° total advance I would need to start over with synchronizing the distributor at least 52° on the crank?
