    Default Sniper EFI Blow-Through Setup

Does the Sniper EFI 650 HP version support blow-through supercharged applications right out of the box?

Was just confirming it's good to go with low boost blow-through applications, straight out of the box, as I've heard two different scenarios.

No, it's not ready for forced induction "straight out of the box". The Sniper EFI software must be programmed for boost (Boost Setup, Base Fuel & Base Timing tables, etc.). By default, it's programed for naturally aspirated engines.

Thanks for clearing it up. Any base map fuel tables for forced induction?

Not within the Sniper EFI base calibrations. You can look at some of the 2 & 3 bar (MAP sensor) base calibrations in the Holley HP/Dominator EFI software.
The "302 Ford Turbo", "555 BBC Turbo" and "350-383ci Supercharged 14psi" are all 2 bar base calibrations.

Quick update if anyone is interested. I installed my new Sniper EFI along with my new blow-through supercharger. I capped my internal fuel pressure regulator and installed an external boost referenced fuel pressure regulator, adjusted my fuel tables & Target AFR to suit. So far so good, starts, drives & cruises perfectly! WBO2 sensor died within two hours, but replaced it with Bosch 0258017123. Very happy so far!

Hi ktm071983, I've recently purchased my Sniper EFI to use my blower, so what did you exactly have to get? Brands & parts would be much appreciated. I want to get it right the first time, as I'm still in setup mode. I have a 302 Windsor I want to run 8-15 psi. I have the 4 injector setup. What do I need?

Hi mate. Just cap your internal fuel regulator and buy a rising rate external regulator. I used an Aeromotive regulator. Buy a CAN/USB dongle cable and download the Sniper EFI software. You'll need to modify your Base Fuel Table for boost. I use a MSD 6BTM to retard timing under boost, however, the Sniper EFI can do this too, if you have a dual sync distributor. If your keen on giving the Sniper a crack at controlling your timing, I'm sure it will do a better job than an MSD 6BTM, but I'm happy with mine so as the saying goes, "If it ain't broke don't fix it."

The Target Air/Fuel Ratio Table & Base Fuel/Timing Table (and MAP kPa & RPM axes/scales) should be configured using the Sniper EFI software:
In the Sniper EFI software (LINK), Target Air/Fuel Ratio Table (Fuel ICF) & Base Timing Table (Spark ICF), select "2D Table" Type (not "Simple").
The Target Air/Fuel Ratio Table & Base Timing Table can then be properly configured & tuned for any engine.

You'll need to modify your Base Fuel Table for boost.
Yes. Even though the Sniper EFI already has a 2 bar MAP sensor, you'll want to adjust the Base Fuel Table's MAP kPa scale (LINK) and tune the table for boost.
