    I installed a Sniper EFI kit on my 1981 Jeep Cherokee with a 360ci engine and manual transmission. Maybe I don't understand what I'm supposed to be seeing, but I've had my Sniper installed for about 50 miles of driving now. I've watched the temperature go above 160°. I've watched the display read "Closed Loop" & "Learn" in green. What I've never seen is the % of current Learning % go much above 10%. I've actually watched it go into a negative number several times now. Did I not set something up correctly or am I doing something wrong? Is this perfectly normal? The Jeep runs great, much better then it did with the Edelbrock 1406 that was on it. Cold starts are instant, hot starts are as well. Thanks.

    It sounds like you're right on the money. As long as the Close Loop & Learn indicators are green, it indicates those are doing their jobs. The % of current Learning shows what percent of the fuel map is being used. That might go positive or negative based on the situation.

    Let me clarify that a bit. It shows the percent above or below the fuel map that is being used. 10% means it is adding 10% more fuel, -10% means it is taking away 10%.

    The purpose of the Learn Table is not to achieve any percentage value in particular (high or low). It's simply indicating the amount of modification applied to those Base Fuel Table cells.
