    Default Power To The Pump

    Hi. I'm in the process of rewiring my car as well as installing the Avenger EFI system. Is there any benefit or rule around whether I should run the power to the fuel pump via the provided cable in the EFI kit vs using the cable that comes with my wiring kit? I'm leaning toward my wiring kit as it is a much thicker gauge. However, I'm not sure if the computer controls anything that manages the EFI system through the power cable as well which would make using the EFI power a better option. Thanking you in advance.

    Wire the Holley EFI system as designed; this allows the EFI/ECU to control the fuel pump. It will prime the fuel system at key-on (typically 5 sec), and shut off the fuel pump when there's no RPM signal (key-off/safety).
