Thread: 3.5" touchscreen with Terminator?

    Default 3.5" touchscreen with Terminator?

Hey guys, working another project, and due to how we modified the Henry J to get the 521 in there, I think the small size off the back side of the Terminator would be a great advantage for us. The clearance to the cowl will be very tight with the normal offset to the rear of a 4150. I want find out if they are still using that small handheld, or if they are finally shipping them with the 3.5" touchscreen. Does anyone know? Also, besides the more carb like look, what's the difference between the Stealth and the Terminator? Holley should publish a detailed comparison of each series.

Holley is phasing out the smaller early style handheld controller (LINK). It's now obsolete. There's also no update for that older style handheld controller.
If you have the early style Terminator handheld controller (LINK), the new style 3.5" LCD touchscreen (LINK) isn't too expensive, and it's much better!

Also, besides the more carb like look, what's the difference between the Stealth and the Terminator? Holley should publish a detailed comparison of each series.
    Yes, that's the only difference.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Well, if there is a chance I'll have spend another $250 to upgrade to the 3.5" touchscreen, I'll pass. I have a Terminator on one of my cars, and had to upgrade the touchscreen when the little one dies, but cannot see any reason to spend that money twice on a new system for another project. I note that on the "K" versions, they show the 3.5" in the pictures, but for those of us that build a better in-tank fuel system, they're still passing off that little guy that eventually goes dim.

Why is the Terminator more expensive than the Stealth? 550-405 is $2049, 550-440 is $1999, what's the $50 difference? The Stealth comes with the bigger touchscreen, and it looks like the same ECU. Is there something not included in the kit that I'm missing?

The early style Avenger/Terminator handheld controller is now obsolete. Every Holley EFI Kit that includes a touchscreen, will have the 3.5" LCD touchscreen unit.

I bought my Terminator Kit about a year ago from Summit, and it came with the 3.5" LCD Touchscreen.
