    Default Holley HP EFI & Nick Williams 102

    I need to know what IAC valve to use with my Nick Williams throttle body and Holley HP EFI. I have surge issues with my idle, and can't seem to clear it up. Los Vasquez helped me set it up, but we still have a 850 to 1200 RPM surge. Just trying to make sure I have the right IAC valve to start with. This was a cheap Advance Auto IAC for '02 GM vehicles. I'm not sure of part number.

    Seeing as Holley isn't "Nick Williams", you should probably email or call "Nick Williams" to see what they recommend for an IAC. Then verify that the one they use is wired as GM or Chrysler. Idle surge can also be a sign of a lean/rich mixture. It could be as simple as a vacuum leak somewhere (intake seal is broken somewhere). It could be as simple as too much or not enough idle timing.
