Thread: Holley Dual Sync Distributor With Sniper EFI

Default Holley Dual Sync Distributor With Sniper EFI

I'm in the process of converting over to a Sniper EFI system, and I'm strongly considering adding the Holley Dual Sync for timing control, once I get the car up & running with some learning time for the EFI. I'm starting to do more research, and looking for any feedback while I save up some money. Currently I'm running a HEI.

What are some advantages I would get with the Dual Sync for timing control? Any disadvantages other than having to drop about $450 on a distributor & coil? I'm trying to decide if the advantages over an HEI are worth the money.

What are suggestions for a coil? I was told to look at the MSD Blaster SS, but I'm not a fan of red in my engine compartment. I was hoping I could get something black that would be more discrete.

Anyone have any feedback on using the Dual Sync with their EFI?

Yeah, the fact that the GM HEI isn't even an ECU timing control option (LINK).
