Thread: Sniper Wiring Question

    Default Sniper Wiring Question

I'm getting ready to install the Sniper EFI, and want to know if anyone sees a problem with using a relay, triggered from the starter relay/coil wire, to run the constant cranking +12V? I realize I can't run the pink wire directly to the coil wire, but if it's a fused relay, using the coil wire as the trigger, would that take care of the issue? If not, any other ideas for a constant +12V while cranking on a '72 Bronco with a 1-wire alternator? I suppose I could be wrong, but I don't think I can wire to the back of my ignition switch, as I'm pretty sure it's not 12V while cranking. Thanks.

It must be, or the ignition switch wouldn't be able to start & run the engine.
