Sweet. I also have an engine I'm switching from PowerJection3 to Sniper, and have been controlling with MSD. Did the Holley Tech people walk you through the wiring easily? The fuel pump was connected to the PowerJection3, and primed the system upon turning the ignition key. Does it do something similar?

He didn't need Holley Tech to walk him through the wiring. It's a four wire connection to the vehicle.

Yes, all Holley EFI systems have the fuel pump prime function.

Is this going to be the same V4 EFI software we use on Dominator & HP setups? Hopefully it's live logging & tunable when hooked to a laptop with the engine running.

No, it's not the same Holley EFI software. The current Sniper plan is basic EFI software that's different from the HP/Dominator EFI software (LINK).

Sorry I didn't answer sooner. I had surgery on Friday October 21, and I've been recovering. I didn't need any help from the Holley people, the wiring for the Sniper EFI is very straight forward. If you were able to wire the Powerjection3, you will be able to wire the Sniper. We had a very good fuel system that Schum helped us with from the PowerJection3 forum. We had all kinds of failures with the PowerJection3 fuel system that came with the PowerJection3. As for the prime, when the key is turned on the Sniper does the same thing only better. When you get it running, look into it and watch how the fuel sprays out. It is a lot different from PowerJection3, fuel does not puddle or spray out of the throttle body. I'm very impressed. We were also breaking in a new cam after installing the Sniper EFI. No problems. We are getting ready for our first drive when I get done recovering from surgery.

Are there many details on this? As far as its capability & "Online" mode to live tune?

As I stated in post #10, the Sniper EFI software will be available soon.

A manager at Holley posted some screen shots of the upcoming Sniper EFI tuning & datalogging software. It looks similar to Dominator screens. Holley will sell a USB to CAN adapter soon, and Doug at Holley promised it won't cost much.

As you can see in the linked thread, the software is different. But if you're familiar with the current Dominator/HP EFI software, you'll have no issue navigating & using the Sniper EFI software.
