Thread: Sniper EFI Delivery

The shiny Sniper EFI Kit I have seems high quality. The wiring is quality too.

But the fuel system in the Master Kit seems just adequate to make the car run. If you can use every piece of it, then the extra $300 is a cheap fuel system. But down the road you should plan on upgrading to a better system, like an in-tank pump, hard lines & better filter.

The Reference Manual tells you rigid fuel line tubing should be used for under vehicle runs, such as along vehicle frame rails or under floor pans. Failure to do so is a potential fire or explosion hazard, which could cause serious injury or death. Also, the Reference Manual says the Sniper EFI systems are designed for an operating fuel pressure of 58.5 PSI. But the fuel pump in the #12-920 Master Kit, seems the be rated at a lower PSI.

The Walbro in-line fuel pump is an excellent fuel pump, as is the post-filter. If your fuel tank has an in-tank sock filter, don't use the pre-filter.

    That's just legal jargon.

No it's not. It can be safely used at 58.5 psi.
