    Default Transbrake

Hi all. Got the truck running pretty good and getting ready to get the transbrake hooked up. My question is, which is the better route to go a solid state relay or the Holley 554-128 transbrake protection module? And if you do use the 554-128 do you still need a relay to carry the load of the solenoid? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks, Pat.

The Holley 554-128 Transbrake Input Protection Module only protects the transbrake Input circuit into the ECU.
If your transbrake switch/button isn't capable of supporting the transbrake solenoid amperage, a relay is still necessary.
In other words, the Holley 554-128 Transbrake Input Protection Module is the ECU Input, not the transbrake activation. (Holley 554-128 Transbrake Input Protection Module Instructions) (Additional Holley 554-128 Information)
