    Have had three of these pumps, only issues with the last two.

    1) Brass barb fitting would 'wiggle', and pulled out. Had to put it back in using super glue. Been working fine since the 'repair'. Be careful with the short brass barb, make sure hose clamp doesn't cause rubber to press on body of pump. I checked the hose clamp, and it wasn't squeezing rubber against body, but I don't know if an operator had pulled on the hose or what may have happened, just saying be careful ;-)

    2) Inline filter had a bad crimp holding filter together, since it was on the suction side, pulled air into system, and engine lost power and quit after about 3-4 months use. I could wiggle the housing with my fingers. Pulled apart with pliers, o-ring was good, simply crimp was loose, likely manufacturing defect. Replaced with NAPA gold filter, had a little trouble getting it to pump, but once air out of the system started working again fine.

    All in all, these are pretty good little pumps for the price, and will continue to use. First one was on a piece of equipment that sold, pump had been going about 2-3 years. Second one still running, about a year, third one I use for priming diesel engines when changing filters/injectors/etc. Works great for priming too.

    I had the same as #1. When it came out. I returned it for a metal bodied pump. I'll never use a plastic fuel pump with pressed in fittings again.
