    Default 24X LS2: 550-602 or 550-603

I have an early LS2, block casting 12568952, with 24X reluctor wheel (confirmed, have the pan off), and black crankshaft sensor (stamped 05343). Engine was rebuilt, no camshaft or knock sensor yet. GM intake manifold 12580420, which is the Trailblazer SS intake with 12580681 EV6/USCAR injectors (flow rate g/sec: 3.8, lb/hour: 30.2) Throttle body will be Holley drive by cable. Stock cam, stock 243 LS6 heads. From research these are my options:

    1. Holley 550-602:
    - Cam sensor wire will need to be extended / or use an adapter harness.
    - Use injector harness 558-201 (instead of included 558-200) / or use injector connector adapters.
    - Use knock sensor adapter extension harness.

    2. Holley 550-603:
    - Repin main harness, crank and camshaft sensors according to: http://forums.holley.com/showthread....8637#post68637.
    - Injector harness should be correct, knock sensor connector should be correct for factory LS2.

    Questions:
    1. Which kit would you suggest?
    2. My plan is to start with the "Stock 6.0L LS2 Drive By Wire" Custom Cal and remove the "Drive-By-Wire" individual config. Or would starting with the "480HP LS2" be a better choice?
    3. Other items to consider?

    Thank you for your help!
    Chris

I'd start with the Gen 4 harness and repin the crank sensor. The DBW stock LS2 configuration is easily changed to cable. I'd start there. You'll also need to change the Ignition Parameters to reflect the 24 tooth reluctor, and a matching 1x or 4x cam configuration. Andrew

Thank you for the input. I also see there is a Terminator kit available:
    3. Holley 550-610 "GM LS2/LS3 Engines and 2007 to current 4.8/5.3/6.0 Truck Engines with 58x crank reluctor, No Laptop Required, 3.5" Touchscreen Included"
    - Repin main harness, crank and camshaft sensors according to: http://forums.holley.com/showthread....8637#post68637.
    - Included Holley 558-201 is correct for EV6/USCAR injectors.

I believe the Terminator ECU can easily be updated to HP via USB. The major difference I see is the Terminator kit includes the 3.5" handheld controller (could be handy), and does not include the 558-409 USB cable. Is there another difference I'm missing?

There is no "upgrade" required for the Terminator kits. Just get the laptop cable, load software on laptop, and then access the ECU. The Terminator kits use the same HP or Dominator ECUs. You just have to make sure that the software version you use, is the same as the firmware that is on the ECU. The Terminator kits are a good value because you get more for your money, than buying all the parts separately. Andrew
