    Default 1954 F100 Y-Block 239 Carburetor Linkage

    I'm looking for the throttle linkage for a 1954 Ford 2bbl Holley carburetor on Y-block 239. I think the model number is 28. The truck has 3 speed manual transmission and the linkage connects on the right side of the carb. As an alternative, can the linkage be connected on the right side in some way?

    I'm working on my wife's 54 F100. Just swapped out the six cylinder. My car is a 1998 Corvette convertible, 6 speed, black tan top interior. It has 45K miles on pride & joy!

    I found a pic of what I think is your setup. First thing I would look at, is to see if the throttle shaft can be removed and put in from the opposite side. Can the carb mount backwards? Looks like it might/could, being a single bore carb.

    Thanks for the reply! Mine is different. Mine does not mount on the firewall.
