    Default 3.5" LCD Touchscreen #553-108

I wanted to know if the 3.5" LCD Touchscreen is compatible with the Terminator ECU? Also, can it be configured to display MPH from a T56 transmission? Thanks.

Of course, all new Terminator EFI systems are now equipped with it (LINK).

Yes, but only a V4 updated 3.5" LCD Touchscreen has the "I/O Monitors" to display the user's custom created I/O (Inputs/Outputs ICF - EFI laptop software).

Yes. And yes. If you have the right sensor on the transmission.
It will either need to be a Hall-Effect sensor with a driveshaft collar, or it will need to be a
vehicle speed sensor that goes into the side of the transmission, and reads the teeth on the speedometer gear.

Then you will need to know how many pulses that device reads.
Driveshaft collars will be 2-8 pulses.
Typical T56 speedometer gears are 17 pulses (but not all of them).

This can be taken into on of the speed inputs on the ECU, and then you can make it display that sensor as Pulses, RPM, or MPH.

Does the 3.5" LCD Touchscreen work with the Avenger EFI? Thanks.

3.5" LCD Touchscreen is awesome. Much better than the 1" that came with my Terminator. You'll have to have the proper firmware in the ECU & Handheld for it to work.

Yes, it does. Ensure the ECU & 3.5" LCD Touchscreen use compatible firmware versions (LINK).

I'm just going to hookup my new 553-108 that I purchased last year for my LS conversion (Holley sent me a SD card with the LS Terminator loaded). Can't I just plug the unit into my CAN plug on the main harness, and fire it up? What's the separate power harness with the black & white wire and two different plugins used for?

That wiring adapter (LINK) is for the older main harnesses that don't have the newer style 4-pin connector: CANBus/+12V/Ground (LINK).

Thanks Danny. That's what I thought, but you can't guess at stuff, cause that's how things go south in a hurry. LOL!
