    Default Another Dominator EFI/Racepak IQ3 Speedometer Thread

    Hi. My first post and I'm about to buy a Dominator EFI setup.
    I have searched and found this previous post about getting the Racepak to display a speedometer, but I'm a bit confused.

    This is my shopping list:
    Holley 554-114 - Holley EFI Dominator ECU
    Holley 558-500 - Holley EFI Harness Kit
    Holley 554-100 - Holley NTK WBO2 Sensor x2
    Holley 558-401 - Holley J2A Auxiliary Harness
    Holley 554-102 - Holley 100 psi Pressure Transducer x3
    Holley 557-200 - Holley Boost Solenoid
    Holley 534-10 - Holley Coolant Temperature Sensor
    Holley 534-20 - Holley Air Temperature Sensor
    Holley 558-412 - Holley Auxiliary Harness For Use w/Racepak
    250-DS-IQ3 - Racepak Display Dash

    The gearbox I'm using is a Powerglide. I have on back order a Electronic speed sensor that bolts onto the gearbox. I'm not sure if it's 2 or 3 wire. If it's like my old TH-400 speed sensor, it'll be 2 wires.

    The part that I'm having trouble understanding is; do I need to buy 558-404 - J4 Connector & Harness, connect the speedo sensor wires to Connector J4 Pin B18 High side, and Pin B14 Ground? Then set it up through the ECU?

    What is this part for?

    You don't necessarily need the Holley 558-404 J4 Auxiliary Harness kit, but without it, you'd have to purchase the J4 Connector, wiring & ECU terminals separately (LINK). The Holley 558-404 J4 Auxiliary Harness kit is everything you need, and also provides wiring access to several Inputs, Outputs, Sensor +5V & Sensor Ground.

    What is this part for?

    This connects the Racepak Display Dash to the Holley 558-412 CAN2 Connector Harness.
