Thread: New Forum Software

  1. #1

    Default New Forum Software

Could the section listings be darker?
Example: Right now it looks like this "User Support".

Also, If a section has a post, the notification is fuggly, and not bright enough.
A bright blue would be cool.

I agree, the forum is just too white (too bright). There's no contrast between the post/thread and the background. It's hard on the eyes. I'll contact Holley about this.

    Default New forum layout?

Is this new layout how it's going to stay? The indicators of unread threads I'll probably get used too, but this stark white background is tough. Just to much white. It's like it's not finished, and I'm hoping this is just a start to new changes that will lead to a final that is not this.

Just posted about this by starting a thread. Didn't know about this one. Yeah, this new setup has a limited look time before you have to walk away because of all the white. I'm unclear on the indicators also, so red means hot thread with no unread posts, but it also means with unread posts? Is one have thicker lines or something?

I agree. It's too much white! I've already informed Holley of this. I'll contact them again.

I have darkened the text and the forum background now has a contrasting color against the posts/threads. Let me know if you like it better.

We need a black/night option. I don't even look at the site now, if it's night time.

That's a good idea, because the forum is still too "white" (bright).

You now can choose between the new theme and the old theme, by using the drop down menu selection at the bottom of the page. Choose the "Classic Dark Style" for the old site theme.
