Default Digital Dash - Setting Up Switches

I'm trying to add a switch to my Digital Dash. I already have the cooling fans coming on with the CTS, but I want to add a switch to my Digital Dash to override them, if I want to toggle the fans on/off. When I create a switch in the Input, do I label the type INTERNAL, or CAN 5V? I followed the directions in the manual, but it does not turn them on. What am I doing wrong?

No. When creating the custom Input, just select Ground as the Type (Inputs/Outputs ICF), and Pin Map it in the "View LCD" tab.
Then when creating the corresponding custom Output, select it under Switched Input Triggers. I setup five virtual switches on my Digital Dash.
