So it would probably be best just to run a driveshaft sensor for both, the traction control & speed?

    Yes, that's possible.

Not to bring up an old thread, but if anyone is looking for the adapter that Racindego drew up, I'm looking to sell mine. Not for a profit of course, because Racindego did all the work. I'm just looking to get what I paid the machine shop (not much). I ended up getting a Holley Digital Dash and the adapter is not needed anymore. PM if you're interested.

I did some sleuthing and snagged a Standard Motor Products PC893 VSS sensor & S2278 pigtail. These are supposed to be direct replacements for the parts mentioned early in this thread. Nice part is I got both for $35 including shipping from RockAuto. Looks right to me, the pigtail plugs right in & snaps. Haven't tried this yet, so buy this option at your own risk.

LS6S13 are you still looking to sell that adapter? I'm interested and sent you a PM.

I think I might look into machining one of those pieces that racindego designed and was nice enough to share, but I wanted to double check that this works how I think it works. (I'm essentially an idiot who happens to be good with a wrench.) The Jeep sensor, with the adapter plate, will plug into the side of the transmission (in my case, a TKO600) and be able (once it's setup correctly in the EFI software) to talk to the HP ECU, and then onto a Holley Digital Dash of some flavor?

    That's exactly correct for a T56. I can't confirm on TKO600 though.
