1) The C950 datalogger is very sensitive to the laptop it's used with. I once helped tune a really nice IROC Camaro and we were going crazy trying to determine why the datalogs had random spikes everywhere (Dell laptop - XP). He previously tried disconnecting the electric fans, better grounding, moving engine wiring away from ignition, removing the alternator belt (safe alternator test), etc. We then tried without the AC car adapter, two different serial-to-USB adapters, turning off background programs, wireless/internet card removed, etc. We finally returned to my house to try my Toshiba laptop - XP and were pleasantly surprised to view super clean datalogs! I would have never thought a laptop computer would be the cause of strange looking datalogs. Then again, I've experienced the most C950 problems when using the owner's Dell laptops.
2) Maybe the same thing happens with the AFR. The following happens with the laptop NOT connected to ECU ('key off'):
If you open the C950 software and go straight to the datalogger (without loading any Map), the duty cycle will indicate correctly.
If you first load your Map, then open the datalogger, the duty cycle will indicate exactly half the actual amount, throughout the datalog.
(I haven't checked what happens when the laptop is connected to ECU & 'key on'.)
3) I was in the habit of only opening one window (screen) at a time. Use the 'Hot Keys'. The C950 can do some strange things if you have too many screens open at one time (minimized or not). This may have a lot to do with the particular laptop computer used.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.
