Default Just purchased Commander 950, have a few questions.

Hi. I just bought a Commander 950 with Stealth Ram intake. The system is brand new, but it's from 2002. Has software version 1.02.
I installed the software on a old laptop with windows 98. First issue is, the Commander 950 manual states there should be a fourth floppy disk with base maps. I opened the sealed box and there was only three disks marked 1 2 3. I noticed in the software that was loaded on the computer, had two base maps are these the only two base maps available for this version 1.02. I think I have one of the first ones that were produced. Do you think it would be better to just send it to Holley and get it reflashed?
    Thanks, Brian

Yes, absolutely use the latest ECU firmware!
The firmware in your C950 ECU can only be updated by sending the ECU to Holley.
The newest software & firmware will operate a narrowband or wideband O2 sensor.
    I highly suggest Holley's own 534-197 WBO2 sensor kit; it's "plug & play" with the C950 harness.

IF you don't already have a WBO2 sensor kit, just purchase Holley's 534-197 WBO2 sensor kit.
It contains the ECU firmware update certificate, and the C950 software is a free download (below).

You can download the latest C950 software, the C950 manual and all the base maps here:
http://www.holley.com/TechService/Li...#FuelInjection (Scroll down to "Commander 950")

Click on the About & Version tab (key-on) to find your current software & firmware versions.
Your C950 software version must be compatible with your C950 firmware version:
    1.xx software = 1.xx firmware
    2.xx software = 2.xx firmware
    3.xx software = 3.xx firmware
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Thanks Danny.
Yeah, I'm sending it to be reflashed. I have seen new software disks for sale at Summit, Jegs, etc. Is the upgrade from Holley included with the purchase of the disk? Also, do you know how many base maps are included on the new disk?

I have a old IBM 380 XP laptop with Windows 98 that I am using for the Commander 950. It lets me download the zip files them but when I hit open, it says something about Paint image cannot read. I'm still learning this system all help is appreciated. Thanks, Brian

Holley 534-191 Commander 950 Pro Software Upgrade is what you need.
This includes a certificate for sending your C950 ECU to Holley for the firmware update.

The wideband O2 base maps are already loaded in the EFI software (C:CMDR950 folder).
Again, you can download the latest C950 software, the C950 manual and all the base maps here:

Your old laptop probably doesn't have the Microsoft Paint program on it. It should just use a default desktop icon instead.
