Thread: Terminator Setup Wizard 550-405 vs 550-406

Question Terminator Setup Wizard 550-405 vs 550-406

I noticed, while watching the Chuck's Garage video on the Holley website, that during the Setup Wizard he had to answer whether or not he had the 405 or the 406 (it seems he answered wrong by the way). I'm very curious as to why the calibration is concerned with whether or not there is a coating on the throttle body. Not to say it's good or bad, if there's a difference that requires calibration differences. I'm impressed and pleased that Holley took the time to create the difference. Since I haven't purchased the kit yet, I thought I'd ask, so I could make a more informed decision over what is more important to me, be it form or function.

I don't know. But I'm guessing, somewhere in the software, the Terminator image or type is displayed.

Yes, he entered the wrong part number. He has the Hard Core Gray (550-406), not the Tumble Polished (550-405).

He's not referring to the fuel "System Type" in Engine Parameters.
