  • Splitting CAN Bus Signal

Morning everyone. I did a search, but didn't find an answer. I need to know if I can split the CAN Bus HI/LOW signal so I can use the handheld display and send engine data to the Auto Meter Digital Race Dash? I wanted to tap into the wires so I didn't have to plug and unplug the extension harness. Thank you, Jimmy

I don't think the Auto Meter Digital Race Dash can read the Holley EFI proprietary CAN Bus data protocol. Holley sells their CAN Bus splitters, but they're for their own devices.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Never mind, Holley makes a CAN splitter harness, sorry guys, brain wasn't working. Jimmy

Danny, I called Auto Meter, the tech sent me instructions and said all I had to do is tap into the CAN Bus signal & ground, then program the display to read the Holley. If you want I can email you the file and you can make sure everything is good. Jimmy

Instructions: While in Datapro designer open ECU gateway, enter Holley EFI serial number, set speed to 1Mbit/s, select channels to monitor, check box to enable internal termination of CAN Bus1, then upload to LCD race dash. Does this seem right? Jimmy
