  • Surging Idle on startup.

    On warm startup my engine will surge to 1500 RPM the back down to almost stalling before settling to a 750 RPM idle. Currently my Advanced Idle Parameters are as follows; IAC Ramp Down Hold 25%, Ramp Decay 2.5 sec, Ramp Start 1000, Kick 50%. Idle Spark control enabled. Do these settings look satisfactory? Do they effect the problem I'm trying to solve?

    You need to list the engine specs, camshaft specs, and post the Global File. If you're still using the 3.5" TSLCD handheld, you should probably get setup to tune with a laptop. Upload the GCF and someone can help.

      1967RS/SS: It sounds to me like the throttle blades are not adjusted properly. What are the IAC Position values at idle when the engine is good and hot? Andrew
