I haven't ever seen anywhere to save a tune file. Where is that at?

That's exactly what I did, and what I'm doing now.

Just wanted to update. Finally got my new wideband O2 sensor. I originally ordered a Bosch 17014 WBO2 sensor, and that was wrong. So with some digging around, found & ordered a Bosch 17025 WBO2 sensor, which is a direct fit and has a longer wire harness as well.

Turned the Closed Loop function back on, and fired the car up. Let it warm up and at 160°, went into Closed Loop, and started Learning, just like it should. Once warmed up, AFR stayed right on my commanded settings, on both banks. I use the handheld as a monitor. With Holley WBO2 sensor in right collector, and I have an AEM WBO2 kit that I used to use for WOT tuning my old carburetor, with sensor in left collector. They are now both exactly in sync, which the original Holley sensor seemed, from Day 1, always reading slightly richer.

One thing I did notice. I let it sit & idle while I shuffled some vehicles around the shop. After maybe 20 minutes of idling, the Closed Loop Learn % was already in the low 40s. So seems like it's Learning even faster than it originally was, which is OK by me. Thanks again Danny and anyone else who replied. Ready for the road again, and Holley is also sending me a new sensor under warranty. I'll probably just keep that one as a spare.

Was this a definite fix for you? My truck did the same thing today, but even reflashing and disabling Closed Loop would not let me drive home.

Yes. The new Bosch WBO2 sensor fixed it. I've never had a reason to try the warranty one from Holley, so don't know if it's another bad one or not. I just know the new Bosch one works great. Important note: https://forums.holley.com/showthread...7878#post87878 (Post #4)

I know this thread is dead, but I'm guessing I just had the same problem. I'm ignorant on all this stuff, I've never had anything but mechanical fuel pumps & carbs. I had a shop install the Sniper and everything has been really good. I have about 1500 miles on it with no problems. Parked the truck, went back out today to start it and will barely start & runs rough. When it does start, AFR is pegged at 35:6 and does not move.

Sure sounds like yours died too. I've never had an WBO2 sensor just die like the original ones have done. Holley Tech will send you one under warranty, or if it's a daily driver, an Amazon.com or local auto parts store for a Bosch 17025.

It is my daily driver. I have Amazon prime and O'Reillys didn't have it in stock, so I can get it more quickly from Amazon. If I'm understanding everything correctly, I need to clear everything out of the units memory, install the Bosch sensor, then start over with the base calibration and let it relearn? And of course, save a tune to the SD card this time. Is all that correct?

Correct. Follow Danny's link and once all is running good again, and you've let it relearn adequately, save that tune, so if it happens again, you have a good starting point.

But for now (until the replacement WBO2 sensor arrives), you should be able to run the engine in Open Loop mode, if the Base Fuel Table is well tuned.

Went out and put it in open loop and it ran pretty strong. Definitely good enough to drive until the sensor arrives. Interestingly, the last time I drove the truck (Friday), I was experiencing a shudder in the truck when it shifted in to 3rd & 4th. I assumed this had something to do with my lockup converter because I have had a lot of issues with the 700R4. When I just test drove the truck, there was none of that. It ran strong & shifted fine, no shudder.

Since you mentioned the 700R4 transmission, the Holley bracket that came with the Sniper didn't even come close to working for my 700R4.
I had to cut and marry it to another brand bracket to get it dialed it. Did you have better luck with the included brackets or did you have to modify also?
