Big thumbs up for Marren Injection fuel pulse dampener on returnless fuel line!

[69 Torino GT]

Had a lot of loud ticking from the Sniper with fuel pressure fluctuating over 20 PSI and some lean spots at lower RPM and tip in high load situations that I could not tune out. Bit the bullet on the recommendation from Danny. All the issues are gone. Fuel pressure is dead steady now and the car drives great. I strongly recommend to order the dampener with the "T" fitting they supply. Bill. '69 Torino GT- 351 automatic.

I had the same issue with mine running returnless and went with the Radium Engineering fuel pulse damper. Also solved my issues. Get one if you're running a dead-headed system.

Hi. I installed one on my HP EFI with a return line my Aeromotive Regulator sounded like a air hammer I installed the damper and noise went away. Using a 255 LPH pump. Most OEMs use a damper. Joey.S

The issue I was having (and from the sound of it, so was '69 Torino) was that the fuel pressure was fluctuating wildly while the engine was running. It all has to do with harmonic resonance. See my post here for a detailed account of the issue: https://forums.holley.com/showthread...ghlight=damper
