  • Holley coolant temp sensor for Fuel Temp?

Hi there. Is there any reason I can't use a Holley coolant temp sensor as a fuel temp sensor at my petrol tank? It's made from br**** does anyone see an issue (I'm in a Boat). I just want to see how much my fuel in the tanks warmup over long runs. I could be over looking something obvious hence the question. My local Holley dealer (Australia) thinks it would be fine, but doesn't hurt to get a 2nd opinion. Thanks.

Yes, that's fine. It's not an exposed sensing element type sensor.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

You could also get a combination pressure/temperature sensor. It'd only require one additional wire be run, and a new connector. Rife, Holley and others also sells them I'm sure.
