Also, certain spark plug wires (such as FireCore50), transmit far less electrical interference than other

You can also buy resistor boots from companies like NGK, that have the resistor built into them.
So you can run a non-resistor spark plug, but still get the RFI/EMI suppression of a resistor spark plug.
Some ignition coils, such as the LSx coils, don't like a non-resistor plug. The IGN1A coils do not care.
