  • 12-300 EFI Fuel Tank Module Amps

    I have a Holley EFI Fuel Tank Module (#12-300) to mate with Terminator X Max EFI (#550-916). The Terminator X can be connected directly to a fuel pump (i.e. no relay) if the pump requires less than 15 Amps. I can't find details on the Amps used by the Holley fuel pump. Does anyone have those specs? If the Holley fuel pump can be wired direct to the Terminator X, where do I ground it? The pump instructions say direct to the battery, the Terminator X instructions say to a chassis/frame ground. Thanks

    It's a Walbro GSS341 fuel pump (LINK), and the Holley 12-300 EFI Fuel Tank Module instructions state it uses a 15 amp fuse. It's the typical Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump specs of 8 amps @ 43.5 psi (13.5V), or 9 amps @ 58.5 psi (13.5V).

      That's great, thanks Danny. Given the Terminator X instructions say to ground to chassis when powering the pump from the ECU, I'm going to follow that lead, unless anyone suggests otherwise. Cheers,

        Yes, a good clean chassis ground is fine (eyelet terminal & bolt).
