    Thanks for the update.

I'm working on this now. I'm trying to set it up through the HP EFI input. I set it up as a 0 to 20V input. I have the gauge laid out, now messing with the wiring. I don't really care if the gauge fluctuates, as long as it gives a decent reading that will indicate if the tank needs fuel or not. I'm running a 12V signal to the sender, then returning that to the input through the I/O Auxiliary Harness on the HP. I'm NOT using the Digital Dash I/O Harness. I'm going to try it this way first and see how it works. It's on a '98 Mustang with a Coyote 5.0L in it. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.

No, I never got it to work right. I even bit the bullet and went with the I/O Adapter. I have the Holley GPS now, and can track mileage for gas consumption. I think the sending unit for a 1964 Dodge is just not compatible with the system. I tried tons of things and never could get it right.

I realize this thread is a couple months old, but did you solve the problem? We're experiencing the same thing on a '93 Mustang & I've checked every ground I found & even added extra ones & the problem still exists.

The ground needs to be a good ground. Actually, everything needs to be well grounded (it's a common problem). Here's just one example: LINK.

Do any of the "ground" pins on the I/O Harness need to be connected for the fuel gauge to work properly? I have followed all instructions to the best of my knowledge, however, I still get some fluctuation when the fans kick in. Wondering if I missed a step, or misread the instructions for the I/O Harness. Thanks, Tom

Thanks Danny. For some reason fuel level was not a option, so I went back and re-downloaded V3, then V4, and the name came up in the dialog box as a option. Thanks.

Follow the Digital Dash instruction manual on pages 3 & 4: http://documents.holley.com/199r11021.pdf, then see post #2 above.

Question, for adding the fuel level gauge on the Digital Dash, what Value To Monitor do you use? Thanks, Ruben.

Hi Folks. I have connected the fuel level gauge display on my vehicle via the IO harness and Digital Dash. It seems to fluctuate at times, i.e. when the fans kick in, the level jumps higher, etc. My thoughts always go to bad grounds, or a faulty sender (it's a one wire GM style 0-90). However, I find it odd that the level fluctuates when the fans kick in. I was just rereading the installation instructions for the harness, and it mentioned that "pin 19 must be connected to a battery or chassis ground..." under the RPM section. Is this a general statement or specific only to the RPM functionality, as I have connected none of the ground pins and I'm thinking if this could potentially be one issue? Thanks for any help in advance!

This is what I was referring to in post #4.

So I guess this is only with the I/O Adapter?
Yes. You can try it from an ECU Input, but it most likely won't stabilize the fuel level reading, because the source (ECU Input) will be wildly fluctuating.

So I guess this is only with the I/O Adapter? I kind of interpreted it that with the new update, the Digital Dash would do this stand-alone (using the Inputs in the Dominator ECU without the I/O Adapter).
