  • A few questions.

    1) My TBI unit (top plate I guess, not the pods) is leaking fuel. I took it apart and the o-rings have given up after about 20 years. Is there a rebuilt kit for this or are the o-rings just standard size? I couldn’t find a match in my stock of o-rings so I'm not sure the size.

    2) I’m considering upgrading to the Stealth Ram intake, and I was wondering if I could use this ECU to run that intake? Do they still have the necessary wiring harnesses available to go from TBI to MPFI? Thanks. Pete

PPranger: I would highly recommend getting at least a Terminator X EFI system when you go to the Stealth Ram. I'd also add a Dual Sync distributor so that you can implement a sequential fuel injection strategy. Andrew

I saw those o-ring kits, but I don’t think those are the ones I need (I could be wrong). My injectors are fine, it’s leaking from the housing where the fuel comes in from the pump. Thanks.

I’ll look at that setup, if nothing else, I wouldn’t have to use my 15 year old laptop with a serial port adapter to tune it. I have no idea what a Dual Sync distributor is, I’ll have to look that up. I’m currently running a small cap HEI, so I can program the timing (which is awesome BTW). Thanks.

A Dual Sync distributor has both an RPM and a cam signal. The cam signal allows the Terminator X to fire the injectors one at a time, in the Firing Order of the engine. The C950 did not have this capability. Andrew
