    Default Idle Adjustment for 4165

Just joined the forum and have a question. I have a 4165 (list 6512). This model has the idle adjustment screws where turning screws counter clockwise leans the air/fuel mixture and clockwise enriches the mixture. I cannot find the proper method to initially set these idle adjustment screws. Thanks for your assistance.

Not different from other Holleys, just the idle screw threads are reversed.

See Danny Cabral's post, Helpful Holley Carburetor Documents (quick start carburetor installation instructions).

The threads are not reversed. Sticky label above adjustment screw says CC to lean mixture.
Turning counterclockwise makes screw come out toward you as normal threads would.

OK, backwards idle adjustment. In to enrich and out to lean, opposite of normal.
